Submit and Verify for Local Listings
We first submit the primary keyword that best describes the desired category. This will be the keyword in which you will find your listing appear soonest, and overall represents what you do. Once submitted, we must verify the listing with Google using a telephone verifications system.
Listings first appear in search results
Once your listing has been verified, it will quickly appear in the search results, but typically far from the top. It's at this point that your listing is like everyone else's and we begin the optimizations process.

Listings normally land on the first page of search results after about 30 days.

Placement fluctuates while listings settle in place
What you will notice is that once we begin the optimization process, you listing can quickly climb to the top of the results. Now Google has some checks and balances in place to ensure that the results they display are the most relevant. It's during this period that viability of the listing is "tested". It's not uncommon to see the listing bounce around the first page, sometime even dropping off momentarily. Rest assured that we are on top of it, and working to pass the "tests"!

Due to the volatile nature of the search engines, and the fact they they are run and maintained by their respective companies, your listing will, from time to time, drop off the first page. Rest assured this is natural and expected. Chances are we'll know it's dropped off before you do. In such cases, we immediately analyze and reconfigure our tactics for your specific listing to bring you quickly back to page one. This can, in some cases, take a good amount of time. This is where our 14 day, no pay guarantee comes into place. If you are down for 14 consecutive days or longer, we will suspend payment until you are back up, as well as credit your account for the days missed. Once the listing has passed it's tests, we can then initiate optimization of additional keywords which fall under the selected category. This will include variations of the primary keyword, and potentially closely related alternatives.

Just because we passed the initial tests doesn't mean we're out of hot water. Search engine constantly update, tweak and otherwise adjust their search Algorithms. Not only that, but new listings are added and updated daily, which threaten to dethrone your top placement. We constantly monitor your listings on a proactive basis, watching for any sign of falter, making necessary adjustments to our daily optimization process.
